Ashnil Samburu Camp sits in Buffalo Springs Game Reserve which takes its name from an oasis of crystalclear water at the western end of the reserve. It is separated from Samburu National Reserve by Ewaso Nyiro River and is less hilly and dense yet very attractive. There are a total number of 30 luxury tents; 18 doubles, 9 with twin beds and 3 with triple beds. Each of the exclusive comfortable deluxe tents provides a perfect view of the Ewaso Nyiro River and the beautiful surrounding landscape. Every spacious tent consists of a dressing area, sitting area, luggage rack and en-suite facilities to provide a memorable stay close to nature.

One full day spent in the Mara Triangle Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Elephant and Buffalo abound in the riverine forests, while out on the grasslands Impala and Thompson's gazelle can be seen together with their attendant predators such as lion, Cheetah, Hyena and Jackal. The Mara is, in fact, the northern part of the Serengeti ecosystem and plays host to the vast herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the months of July to October. Lesser-known species such as topi, hartebeest, waterbuck Eland and many small mammals create a kaleidoscopic picture of wildlife. All meals and overnight stay will be at Mara Serena Lodge.

The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. In the evening return to Amboseli Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.
