Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with meet & greet by our representative/pick up from your Nairobi Hotel, you will meet your driver guide for safari briefing, drive to Aberdare National Park, arrive in time for lunch and check in, leisure, afternoon game viewing from your deck until sunset, have your dinner and overnight at your lodge.
The Ark Lodge; Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Resembling and named after Noah’s Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. So that you don’t miss any animal sightings, the night guard will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole. The Ark has four viewing areas for observing the ever-present animal activity. There is also a ground level bunker – the perfect hideout for the discerning photographer. This is a circular pillbox-like structure, and it is from this vantage point that pictures of animals on the salt lick only yards away may be taken through the view holes in complete safety."In this intimate recess one can almost, but not quite, pat the animals, hear their sounds and smell the aroma of the night. Breakfast at your lodge and check out, you will then depart and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for check inn and lunch, leisure and afternoon game drive until sun set. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge; Located on a range of hills that form the western limits of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, the lodge offers spectacular views over the vastness of Africa. The lodge also overlooks Lake Nakuru and its surrounding National Park, one that is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife lovers alike. Lake Nakuru National Park is mainly a wooded and bushy grassland with a wide ecological diversity and characteristic habitats that range from the lake waters to the escarpment and ridges. Situated in the Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru is the heart of a small national park, best known for its volcanic scenery and enormous populations of flamingos. Sightings of rhinos, lions and other animals are also possible. At 188 square kilometres, Lake Nakuru National Park is a relatively small fenced wildlife reserve, of which around a third is taken up by the lake itself. The area is most famous for its enormous populations of flamingos which nest along the shoreline. Depending on the season, there can be hundreds of thousands, possible even millions of these birds on view. The Park is also renowned for its populations of rare black rhinos, white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes. Predators including lions, leopards and cheetahs are also present and seen with reasonable regularity.

Mara Sopa Lodge; Masai Mara Sopa Lodge is located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Masai Mara Sopa Lodge was one of the first safari lodges to be built in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, a reason why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature. All the buildings follow the design of traditional African round houses with conical roofs and these stretch along the line of the hills with the impressively large public area buildings and the swimming pool at their center. Masai Mara Sopa Guests are drawn to the ethnic design of this Lodge, which itself is surrounded by a landscape rich in flora, from wild olive, bitter aloe vera, croton and Mexican trees. The Lodge has 50 round buildings, each with two rooms. Eight of the 50 cottages at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge have interconnecting rooms. The honeymoon suite is situated at the top of the property providing an uninterrupted view. This very spacious suite has a king-size bed, a shower and a sunken bath. A spacious veranda is perfect to watch the sunset or enjoy private meals. There are 12 suites at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge, each with a large living area, spacious bedroom with either one lking size bed or two queen-size beds, mosquito nets, en-suite bathroom with shower, coffee table with chairs and a mini-bar on request. The Masai Mara Sopa Lodge standard rooms equally have a choice of one king size bed or two queen size beds with mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms with shower. At our Lounge and Reception, we provide different table games, billiard and even open-air cinema to watch movies or cartoons in the evening time. One full day spent in the Mara Triangle Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Elephant and Buffalo abound in the riverine forests, while out on the grasslands Impala and Thompson's gazelle can be seen together with their attendant predators such as lion, Cheetah, Hyena and Jackal. The Mara is, in fact, the northern part of the Serengeti ecosystem and plays host to the vast herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the months of July to October. Lesser-known species such as topi, hartebeest, waterbuck Eland and many small mammals create a kaleidoscopic picture of wildlife. All meals and overnight stay will be at Mara Sopa Lodge/Pride Inn Mara/Mara Loyk Camp.
