Terms and Conditions

Once booking is confirmed, an invoice will be sent to the client/agent, unless the agent/client has an approved credit facility in writing from Advantage holidays (Credit facility currently not applicable), the agent/client is required to make payment prior to final confirmation of reservations as per the payments requirements. All our quotations prices are net/non-commissionable and are inclusive of Government taxes/levies.
Payments must be made in the nominated currency (US Dollars/KES Kenyan shillings), and conversion between the two currencies will be subject to applicable exchange currency rate provided by Central Bank of Kenya at the time of payment/conversion. Payments are payable to our accounts head office located at Karen Triangle Estate/Alternatively payments can be deposited to our account directly with details indicated in all our invoices and fiscal receipt to be provided as a prove of payment. US Dollar notes older than 2006 are not accepted.
We shall not be liable for any excursions or extra services NOT booked through our offices while on safari, clients are recommended to take their personal travel insurance. Prices are subject to change without prior notification in the event of changes in government-imposed taxes, fuel prices, hotel charges, tourism levies and or the introduction of national, regional or local taxes or levies of whatever nature.

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total value of the respective booking to confirm any service outside 90 days prior to date of arrival, any other special activities/service that require payments in full upon confirmation i.e. flights, Gorilla permits etc. will also be paid in full at the time of confirmation.
For bookings falling between 61 – 90 days prior to the date of arrival, we require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking. For bookings falling between 1 – 60 days prior to the date of arrival, we require a 100% deposit to confirm the booking.

NOTE: Some properties may require 100% payment to confirm their bookings, we advise that you reconfirm with our reservation team on this for all services at the time of booking. This is also applicable for the favorable but temporary terms that may be extended by the suppliers due any existing pandemic.

Bookings are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers (hereinafter collectively called a CANCELLATION) will be subject to cancellation and/or No-show fees. Such fees charged by suppliers will be forwarded/extended to the respective tour operator/agent/client.
From the time of confirmation to 46 days prior to arrival – 25%
45 days to 31 days prior to arrival – 50%
30 days to 15 days prior to arrival – 75%
14 days to 00 days prior to arrival – 100%
No show – 100%

Regional/Local Scheduled flights is limited to 15kgs per person, inclusive of hand luggage in soft bags. Extra luggage will be charged separately based on availability and the terms of the specific Airline being booked, this is always advised directly by Airline at the time of reservation. Soft sided bags are recommended for safari in East Africa due to limited space on safari vehicles/Aircrafts. Baggage and personal effects are at owners’ risk throughout the tour and baggage’s insurance is highly recommended. (Kindly always reconfirm with our reservation team on applicable cost and availability for extra baggage at the time of booking, freight seats are always recommended for guarantee purposes)

Single rooms are available at supplementary cost as indicated in our prices, most suppliers allows up to a maximum of 3-5 single rooms per group/booking, additional single rooms are charged full double room occupancy rate. (Kindly reconfirm on applicable single room rates at the time of booking).

Note that all bookings extending from one season to another season, e.g., from low to high season or from high to low season, rates will be subject to proration at the time of booking/invoicing/payment. Our reservations team will always reconfirm the actual applicable rate at the time of booking.
